Where is the authority from which you use musical instruments in church?

Ok I just want to know... can you give me one verse from the NT advocating this?..... I would like to know.
Ok I do agree that the OT describes the use of instruments in worship.. but the NT does away with the worship practices from the OT.... and the NT describes.. congregational singing.... check it.
We also have records from early church historians.. that show that earlly christians sang, and how the 1st time instruments were integrated into a church service, was in the 200's a.d. when a Catholic added it.
God did not give us the authority to change His Word

There are so many exhortations, if not outright commands, to use music to praise God in the book of psalms, I can't type them all for you.

Here are some:
Praise the Lord with the sound of the trumpet!
Praise Him with the stringed instruments and the lyre.
Sing a new song unto the Lord!

Here are some links for you, with the phrases that contain the names of just some of the instruments.

Clearly, music is important for worship.

NEW TESTAMENT:
Colossians 3:16
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.

James 5:13
Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise.

Ephesians 5:19,20
Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord,
20always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

_______
While the NT verses do indeed mention singing, they also do not prohibit the use of instruments. Taken with the OT verses, I am perfectly comfortable, in not downright adamant that instruments are to be used in church for worship.
